Dr. Khanh Nghi Trinh, a multilingual Louisiana native, grew up in Lafitte, LA. She graduated from Louisiana State University in 2005 where she earned a degree in Biological Sciences. She received her Doctor of Optometry in 2010 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University and completed her residency in Primary Eye Care at the Bond-Wroten Eye Clinics in 2011.
While at PCO, Dr. Trinh was nominated to the PCO Dean’s Student Advisory Board, elected Vice-President of the Executive Council, and was an active member of the Student Optometric Services to Humanity organization.
Her clinical experience includes rotations across the country with emphasis on primary eye care, contact lenses, and ocular disease management.
Dr. Trinh is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and Optometry Association of Louisiana (OAL).
In her free time, Dr. Trinh enjoys painting and crafting. She is also passionate about LSU sports, and saltwater fishing with her husband, Robi, and their dog, Buddy.
