Dr. Shruti Patel has been practicing optometry since 2016. She grew up in Memphis, TN where she received her bachelor of chemistry degree from Rhodes College in 2012 and then earned her doctorate degree from Illinois College of Optometry in 2016.
Dr. Patel practices full scope optometry, with a heavier emphasis on primary eye care, contact lens, and managing various ocular diseases, such as dry eye and glaucoma.
Dr. Patel is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and Optometry Association of Louisiana (OAL).
Dr. Patel enjoys connecting with people and educating them on their ocular health. She is a strong proponent of preventative care and believes that a healthy lifestyle with good nutrition can help her patients to leading a happier life. In her spare time, she enjoys fitness, traveling, painting, enjoying the outdoors, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family and friends.
